It's time to strut out Canada's best designers.
All eyes will be on the runway as at least 40 fashion designers showcase their latest fall and winter 2010 lines at LG Fashion Week at Toronto's Allstream Centre at Exhibition Place this week.
The Power of Style replaces the more romantically inclined themes Wear Love and Show Love that have graced the last two seasons of Toronto fashion week.
The show aims to raise awareness of the fact that heart disease and stroke are now a leading cause of death for women. Silken Laumann, Leah Pinsent, Caroline Rhea, Crystal Shawanda and Kimiko Zakreski are among the celebrity models who will be wearing the creations of Canadian designers that include Thien Le, Mark Belford, Ines Di Santo, Paul Hardy and D’Arcy Moses.
